Yesterday, after work, I drove Haley to NY for a fiddle lesson. After the lesson, I took her to play in Brian's session at Dunn's Pub. From the outside, the pub looked like it had been plucked out of Ireland and placed there in White Plains. Inside, there were so many people packed into the tiny place. Brian chose tunes from Haley's tune list most of the night so she was able to play almost the entire 2.5 hours we were there. She had a great time! Stick a microphone in front of her and she is happy as can be! That man sitting next to Haley playing the accordian is John Whelan...one of the best button accordian players ever.
